About The Piece...

Through an almost exclusive use of trills, decorated by glissandi figures, Aurorean Eclipse (2001) portrays and experimental aural picture of streaming upper register sound.  Gradually, tension builds and overtones collide - creating a kaleidoscope of sound as overlapping gestures of similar timbre and pitch obscure each individual instrument.
